The Legacy of Radio Delta
Radio Delta has a storied history filled with passion, innovation, and a deep connection with its listeners. From its illegal broadcasting roots to achieving legal status in 2020, Radio Delta has evolved significantly over the decades. Originally broadcasting in Dutch on Medium Wave with home-built transmitters, Radio Delta expanded to Shortwave in 1981, reaching audiences across Europe.
The journey includes technical upgrades, transitioning from tube transmitters to energy-efficient Mosfets, and the introduction of modern antenna systems. Today, Radio Delta continues to broadcast on weekends, captivating listeners with unique shows and maintaining a strong bond with the shortwave radio community.
QSL Cards: A Keepsake for Radio Enthusiasts
Dedicated listeners can receive unique eQSL cards as recognition for their reception reports. Every year, Radio Delta creates a new, collectible eQSL design, making these confirmations valuable keepsakes for radio enthusiasts.
